We took a draconian measure: we've disabled the trackback module and deleted 192.282 trackbacks. Why? We experienced a flood of trackback spam. You could no longer read some pages - with all the spam that gets attached to a page it simply takes too long to load. 

We apologize if we deleted your non-spam trackback, sifting through almost 200.000 trackbacks to find a handul of non-spam ones is not feasible.

We prefer to be open for new information and closed to leakage... We hope to re-open trackback in the future when it works together with anti-spam software. In the meantime, we remain open for comments (protected by akismet) and responses by e-mail.

(Trackback enables one site to link to another, and then the site that is linked to gives a link back).
